Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, Piyush Goyal released a “Compendium of PM GatiShakti” in New Delhi to mark the completion of two Years of PM GatiShakti. 

The Compendium consists of some of the best use cases showcasing adoption and benefits of PM GatiShakti across the country. 

Prime Minister Gati Shakti is an Indian megaproject worth 1.2 trillion US dollars to provide competitive advantage for manufacturing in India. 

Prime Minister Gati Shakti is also known as National Master Plan for Multi-modal Connectivity

On 15 August 2021, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India announced this project to boost Indian Economic Growth.

The plan was launched on 13 October 2021 to provide multimodal connectivity infrastructure to all economic zones of India and approved on 21 October 2021 by Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
