The present generation is inclined towards use of immersive technologies in Museums. Ministry of Culture operates the Museum Grant Scheme (MGS) which is for the development of new museums/up gradation of existing museums.
While approving the projects, the Expert Committee encourages the applicants to use technology in setting up of new museums and upgradation of existing one.
