India's Saurav Ghosal has clinched the 2021 Malaysian Open Squash Championships after beating Colombia's Miguel Rodriguez in the men's singles final on 27th November, 2021.
This was his first PSA title in three years. The last time he clinched a title on the PSA Tour was in 2018 when he won the Kolkata International Open.
Seeded two and ranked 15th in the world, Ghosal defeated top seed Rodriguez 11-7, 11-8, 13-11 in 55 minutes to win 2021 Malaysian Open Squash. This was his 10th PSA title.
Saurav Ghosal has become the 1st Indian to be crowned the Malaysian Open Champion.
