Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently inaugurated the revamped Rani Kamalapati railway station, earlier known as Habibganj, in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
This station has the first central concourse with connectivity to all platforms with modern world-class facilities.
Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, recently named after 18th century queen of Bhopal's Gond kingdom, is the first world-class model station in the country and has all the facilities that are available at international airports. It has been developed under a public-private partnership and built by a private company.
Rani Kamlapati was the last Hindu queen of Bhopal.
