The Indian women's hockey team has won the Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2023 title. India has won the Asian Championship for the second time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed the Indian women's hockey team for winning the gold medal in the Asian Champions Trophy 2023.

India defeated the reigning champions Japan 4-0 to win the title match played at Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Astroturf Hockey Stadium, Ranchi on 5 November 2023.

China won the bronze medal by defeating Korea 2-1 in the Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2023.
