The Fourth G20 Culture Working Group (CWG) meeting has concluded in Varanasi It lasted from 23rd to 26th August
Ministry of Culture had organised the First G20 Culture Group (CWG) meet in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh from 22nd to 25th February 2023. The 2nd G20 Culture Working Group (CWG) meeting was held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in May.
The Third G20 Culture Working Group (CWG) met in Hampi, Karnataka from 9th -12th July.
Four priority areas
The 4 priority areas outlined by the Culture Working Group (CWG):
• Protection and Restitution of Cultural Property
• Harnessing Living Heritage for a Sustainable Future
• Promotion of Cultural and Creative Industries and Creative Economy
• Leveraging Digital Technologies for the Protection and Promotion of Culture.
