• India defeated the Korea Republic and Malaysia in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022 playoffs to seal their qualification.
• The journey for the Indian football team kicked off in January last year when the All India Football Federation signed the participation agreement with FIFA for the FIFAe Nations Series 2021.
• Representatives from the country will join esports athletes from 23 other nations to compete at the highest level of FIFA 22 Esports from July 26 to 30 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
